Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers outstanding client service with a friendly, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Acts as a cultural ambassador to internal and external clients, providing a professional, exceptional, and supportive experience with each interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver value to clients by personally generating profitable banking business, and by leading personal and commercial groups in developing/achieving sales and profitability goals for an assigned Market or Office. The scope includes increasing net interest margin, deposit and loan pricing, non-interest income generation that contribute to overall bank profitability goals.
- Demonstrates expert ability and knowledge in leading and participating in sales calls in support of commercial and personal banking.
- Proven experience providing full oversight to Market environment, profitability and growth focusing on identifying Market/Office opportunities, recruiting talent and enhancing The Bank of Tampa brand value.
- Demonstrated expert ability to proactively lead the community banking efforts within an assigned Market or Office by identifying and developing strong referral relationships and actively participating in civic, professional and non-profit organizations.
- Communicates with impact and enthusiasm in formal and informal settings audiences such as corporate leadership, major project leadership, senior loan committee, and in communicating corporate objectives to staff.
- Expert understanding of how to maintain credit quality of loan portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, as well as hiring, coaching and developing established performance management standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in commercial lending.
- Extensive credit skills.
- Registration as Mortgage Loan Originator through the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Member of group of associations affiliated with our client niche such as Chamber of Commerce, Legal and Medical association groups, Community groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4- year Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BS or BA) preferably with a business or finance focus or equivalent combination of education and experience.
