Sales Team Support at Ford Hotel Supply Co – Saint Louis, Missouri

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly driven Sales support member to act as the internal “problem solver” across our operations. This team member will help, purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams. This role is responsible for following through on return authorizations, vendor issues, to ensure problems are resolved quickly and completely.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, persistent, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving problems. They are comfortable researching issues, coordinating between departments, and maintaining consistent follow-up with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and follow up on Return Authorizations (RA/RMA) with vendors and internal teams.
• Communicate regularly with vendors to resolve returns, credits, replacements, and discrepancies.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure issues are addressed quickly.
• Investigate operational problems and identify root causes.
• Maintain detailed records of open issues and ensure consistent follow-up until completion.
• Coordinate with the warehouse on returned product status, documentation, and shipping.
Communicate pricing discrepancies
Back up to customer service and purchasing
Qualifications
• Strong problem-solving and investigative mindset
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and internal departments
• Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in operations, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tracking preferred
