About This Position
LAS - Las Vegas, NV - Dispatcher (LAS)
| Information source for the Customer Service Center / Operations. Operate the dispatch center providing critical information regarding aircraft equipment changes, shortages, substitutions, etc. Pull all necessary reports & apply the correct actions to coordinate all the necessary responses. Determine the order in which all flights will be catered. Must monitor all equipment changes, late flights, gate changes, etc. Track and document all flights and aircraft nose numbers. Ensure that Drivers are calling off the dock; F/C, Y/C, Seal Checks and Block Outs. Responsible for efficient and accurate reporting of data communicated. Assist with all other duties as needed. Ability to interpret Flight Specifications Ability to comprehend Menu and Flight Galley specifications Ability to effectively communicate with customers internally and externally Ability to effectively direct support and drivers in order to achieve expected results for the company Pull required lists to check equipment changes and substitutions & take the necessary steps to make sure that the changes happen Receive calls from Zoners, Flight Attendants and Pilots regarding the status of the galleys Report arrival, departure and gate information Ensure proper seal checking procedures Report all cancellations Detail oriented |
