Position Overview
We are seeking a Claims Adjuster with a strong background in liability evaluation and settlement negotiations. This role is ideal for someone coming from an insurance carrier who is ready to apply their claims expertise in a fast-paced law firm environment and take ownership of high-value cases. This role offers the opportunity to evaluate claims from the plaintiff side and work closely with attorneys to drive case strategy and maximize settlement outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage bodily injury (soft tissue, moderate, and severe) and property damage claims
• Review liability, damages, medical records, police reports, and related documentation
• Conduct investigations including reviewing photos, statements, and supporting evidence
• Manage a high-volume caseload with strong organization and attention to detail
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third parties
• Communicate with medical providers, adjusters, and clients to move claims forward efficiently
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all claim activity
• Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams on case strategy as needed
• Support the transition of claims from pre-litigation into litigation when applicable

• 5+ years of experience handling bodily injury and liability claims
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to evaluate claim value
• Experience managing a high-volume BI caseload
• Background with an insurance carrier or insurance defense environment
• Familiarity with systems such as Filevine, CCC, Mitchell, LexisNexis, and related platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, assertive, and results-driven mindset
