This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity consulting, solution architecture, and pre-sales engineering, supporting enterprise clients in designing and adopting advanced security solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, helping organizations understand their security challenges and translating them into scalable, modern cybersecurity architectures. Working closely with account executives and practice leadership, you will shape solution strategy, deliver technical presentations, and guide clients from opportunity identification through to solution design and close. The role requires both deep technical expertise and strong commercial acumen, as you will influence deal progression while ensuring alignment between customer needs and security capabilities. You will also collaborate across network, cloud, and data center practices to build integrated solutions that reduce cyber risk. This is a high-impact, client-facing position with significant visibility across sales and engineering teams.
In this role, you will lead the technical pre-sales process for cybersecurity solutions, partnering with sales teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them define security requirements and translating those into effective solution architectures and service offerings.
- Engage directly with clients to assess security challenges and recommend tailored cybersecurity solutions aligned with business objectives
- Lead technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and reference architecture development throughout the pre-sales lifecycle
- Collaborate with account executives to drive opportunity identification, qualification, scoping, and deal closure
- Design integrated cybersecurity solutions across areas such as threat detection, IAM, vulnerability management, cloud security, and infrastructure protection
- Support proposal development, including SOW creation and technical documentation for client engagements
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships while acting as a trusted security advisor
- Collaborate cross-functionally with network, cloud, and data center teams to ensure cohesive solution design
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy, technology evaluation, and development of innovative security offerings
This role requires strong cybersecurity expertise combined with proven experience in pre-sales consulting or solution architecture within complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and highly effective in client-facing, commercial discussions.
- Experience in a pre-sales, solution architecture, or IT consulting role focused on cybersecurity solutions
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity domains including IAM, threat detection, vulnerability management, cloud security, and infrastructure protection
- Strong experience managing proposal processes, including SOW development and deal support
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to influence sales cycles and support pipeline development and revenue generation
- Strong presentation, communication, and client relationship management skills
- Familiarity with leading cybersecurity technologies and vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Cisco, Zscaler, and others
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions
- Vendor or industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, SANS, ISC2) are a plus
- Competitive base salary ranging from $170,000 to $215,000, based on experience and location
