About This Position

A private family based in Brooklyn (Bay Ridge) is seeking a highly capable, resourceful, and proactive Personal Assistant to support day-to-day personal and household operations. This hybrid role blends remote administrative work with in-person responsibilities, helping streamline logistics and improve overall household efficiency. The ideal candidate is intuitive, action-oriented, and able to manage a wide range of tasks with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage scheduling, appointments, and calendar coordination

  • Coordinate travel planning, bookings, and itineraries

  • Conduct research and assist with personal projects

  • Run errands (e.g., returns, pickups, service appointments)

  • Coordinate and oversee household vendors (repairs, maintenance, services)

  • Assist with ongoing home projects and organization

  • Maintain household systems and ensure smooth daily operations

  • Be available for on-site tasks in Brooklyn

  • Provide backup dog walking or pet-related support

  • Be present for vendor visits or deliveries

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Personal Assistant required

  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to be concise and efficient

  • High level of discretion and professionalism

  • Dog-friendly preferred

Schedule: Part-time: Approximately 20–25 hours per week

Compensation: $50–$75 per hour
