In this role, you will leverage your senior engineering leadership experience to coach and mentor professionals navigating complex technical and organizational challenges. You will work closely with engineering leaders in high-growth and innovative environments, helping them develop leadership capabilities, improve communication, and achieve meaningful career goals. The role combines structured coaching methodologies with real-world expertise, allowing you to create lasting impact at both individual and organizational levels.
- Provide personalized 1:1 coaching sessions to engineering leaders through virtual platforms, guiding them on leadership, performance, and career development
- Support coachees in setting clear goals, overcoming challenges, and enhancing their impact within their organizations
- Participate in ongoing training programs to refine coaching techniques and adopt structured methodologies
- Engage with members between sessions via digital communication channels to ensure continuity and progress
- Contribute actively to the coaching community by sharing insights, tools, and best practices
- Foster a safe, empathetic, and growth-oriented environment for all coachees
- Act as an ambassador of coaching values, promoting learning, inclusivity, and professional development
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including leadership roles at Director, VP, or equivalent level
- Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams in high-growth, global, or fast-paced environments
- Strong background in navigating technical complexity while leading teams and driving organizational outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead through change and ambiguity
- Interest in developing coaching expertise; prior coaching experience or certifications are a plus but not required
- High emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in areas such as AI/ML, infrastructure, security, or platform engineering is advantageous
- Ability to commit consistently (minimum 12+ hours per month) over a long-term engagement
- Comfortable working in a remote, evolving, and startup-like environment
- Flexible, fully remote contract role with the ability to work from anywhere in Europe or North America
