Vice President of Commercial Partnerships

REPORTS TO Chief Revenue & Philanthropy Officer
LOCATION USANA Center of Excellence, Park City UT
TRAVEL 25%

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The Vice President of Commercial Partnerships is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by leading the account management function, maximizing partner value, and expanding commercial opportunities. This role owns partner retention, renewals, upsell strategy, and revenue expansion through enhanced services, cross-functional collaboration, and integrated marketing initiatives. The VP serves as a senior leader and strategic partner to internal teams while acting as an executive sponsor for key accounts.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale the Account Management team to deliver best‑in‑class partner service and measurable commercial results.
- Establish performance goals, accountability frameworks, and professional development plans for team members.
- Foster a high-performance, partner‑centric culture focused on long-term relationship value.
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
- Own all partner renewals, upsell strategies, and account expansion opportunities to drive year-over-year revenue growth.
- Develop and execute commercial partnership strategies aligned with organizational revenue goals.
- Identify and launch new revenue opportunities through enhanced services, bundled offerings, and premium partner experiences.
- Partner with Business Development to identify new revenue streams, category opportunities, and whitespace prospects informed by partner and market insights
Partner Management & Retention
- Serve as executive sponsor for key and strategic partners, ensuring strong relationships, high satisfaction, and long-term retention.
- Lead renewal negotiations, ensuring value-based agreements that meet financial and strategic objectives.
- Proactively identify risk and implement retention strategies to minimize churn.
- Own the development of data-driven partnership insights, including measurement frameworks, valuation methodologies, and ROI reporting for partners
Collaborations & Marketing Initiatives
- Partner closely with Marketing, Events, Business Development, Athletics and Communications teams to activate integrated partner campaigns and sponsorship initiatives.
- Drive innovative collaborations that increase partner visibility, engagement, and ROI.
- Support the development of compelling partnership proposals, storytelling, and activation plans.
- Develop and lead premium hospitality, integrated marketing platforms, and brand storytelling initiatives that enhance partner value, elevate fan engagement, and create differentiated sponsorship opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Analytics
- Use data and insights to track revenue performance, partner engagement, and growth opportunities.
- Forecast revenue, monitor pipeline health, and report on KPIs to senior leadership.
- Continuously refine commercial offerings based on partner feedback, market trends, and performance metrics.
Internal Alignment & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Act as a key voice on partnership strategy within senior leadership discussions.
- Ensure seamless handoffs and alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
- Champion a unified, organization‑wide approach to partner success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week (generally 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily) Monday - Friday. This is an exempt position, which requires travel to events.
- Work on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport for international travel
- Must possess valid driver's license as position requires driving of company vehicle
- This position must be able to lift 25+ pounds.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, account management, sales, or commercial leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving revenue growth through renewals and upsells.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and marketing collaborations.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages Account Management team.
