In this mission-driven leadership role, you will play a key part in expanding and strengthening a national network of business partners who support real-world, work-based learning experiences for students. You will be responsible for building meaningful relationships with organizations and leaders who contribute time and expertise to help students solve authentic business challenges. This role sits at the intersection of education, partnerships, and workforce development, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will oversee the full partner journey—from outreach and recruitment to onboarding and program delivery—ensuring high-quality experiences for all stakeholders. You will also help scale systems and processes that enable efficient matching and consistent program delivery at national scale. Working in a fast-paced, impact-oriented environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to improve operations, strengthen partner engagement, and continuously enhance program outcomes. Accountabilities:
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of business partners, driving outreach, recruitment, and conversion from initial engagement through confirmed participation in the program.
  • Develop compelling messaging and relationship strategies to attract and engage diverse organizations and senior business leaders.
  • Ensure effective onboarding, scheduling, and support of partners to guarantee smooth program execution and a high-quality experience for all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the matching of business partners to student programs, ensuring alignment, clarity, and authenticity in business challenges provided.
  • Maintain and optimize operational systems, tools, and workflows to support efficient, scalable program delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure 100% match rate and successful execution of partnership-driven learning experiences.
  • Identify operational gaps and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and partner satisfaction.
  • Lead or support initiatives to test, refine, and scale new processes based on data, insights, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for business partners, ensuring clear communication and sustained engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Experience in partnerships, business development, account management, education programs, workforce development, or related fields.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and engage external stakeholders, including business leaders and organizational decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and drive action.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and find creative solutions to operational challenges.
  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically, balancing long-term system improvements with day-to-day execution.
  • Passion for education, student development, and expanding access to career-connected learning opportunities.
  • Comfort working in remote or hybrid environments with occasional travel requirements.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong accountability and follow-through.
