Job Title: Scheduling Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Scheduling Supervisor manages the scheduling function, ensuring efficient trip planning, route optimization, and resource allocation for paratransit services. This role supports operational efficiency and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise scheduling staff responsible for trip reservations and route planning.
• Oversee daily scheduling operations to ensure efficient and accurate trip assignments.
• Ensure compliance with service policies, including ADA requirements and service area guidelines.
• Optimize scheduling processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Coordinate closely with dispatch, customer service, and operations teams.
• Monitor scheduling system performance and resolve system or workflow issues.
• Analyze data to improve routing efficiency and on-time performance.
• Train and mentor scheduling staff on systems, procedures, and best practices.
• Support service planning, forecasting, and workload management.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in scheduling, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling/dispatch software systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
