Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Optimize Logistics and Equipment for Regional Restoration Leader

Job Overview:

  • Company: CARE-Property Services, Inc.

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $52,000 to $58,000 per year

  • Location: Hanover, PA.

  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

  • Schedule: Varies daily based on crew needs; occasional weekends required.

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Drivers License.

The Opportunity: You will take full ownership of the vital heartbeat of our operations by managing all inventory, tools, and equipment. This role empowers you to build efficient logistics systems and ensure our field crews have exactly what they need to succeed. You will work with significant autonomy in a fast-paced environment where your organizational expertise directly impacts the companys profitability.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Implement and maintain a sophisticated inventory control system to track construction materials, consumables, and high-value tools.

  • Procure necessary equipment and materials by analyzing cost-effectiveness and building strategic relationships with key vendors.

  • Coordinate the seamless loading and transportation of equipment to ensure job sites remain productive and on schedule.

  • Oversee a comprehensive maintenance program for the company fleet and specialized tools to minimize downtime.

  • Enforce rigorous safety protocols and OSHA compliance within the warehouse and yard to protect all personnel.

  • Optimize warehouse and yard layouts to maximize storage density and streamline the retrieval of essential materials.

  • Analyze operational data to prepare reports on material usage, budget variances, and inventory accuracy for leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven ability to operate a forklift and utilize common hand tools effectively.

  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.

  • Capacity to lift 50 pounds frequently and work in environments with dust, heat, and cold.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to clear snow from parking lots and handle outdoor maintenance as required.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Approximately 2 years of relevant experience within the construction or restoration industry.

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional work experience in logistics or supply chain.

  • Possession of a DOT License and OSHA certification.

  • Experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing transportation logistics.
