ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assist housekeeping staff by supporting cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all residential, clubhouse, and common areas.
• Move throughout the property frequently to deliver linens, cleaning supplies, trash, and other materials.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Empty trash bins, transport waste to designated areas, and maintain waste collection areas.
• Set up and breakdown furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed for daily operations or special events.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment in clean and organized condition.
• Assist with laundry duties including transporting, folding, and restocking linens and supplies.
• Support team members by performing cleaning tasks in common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, and kitchens as assigned.
• Identify and report any safety, maintenance, or supply issues to supervisors.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain a steady and efficient pace to complete assignments within expected timeframes.
• Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and desire to support a high-quality environment for residents and guests.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.

Soliciting gratuities from members or guests is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Gratuities include items such as cash, favors, gifts, tickets to events and other forms of non-financial compensation. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
