In this role, you will drive initiatives that directly influence patient access, commercial performance, and long-term profitability for both established and pipeline products. - Develop and execute account-specific pricing, contracting, and channel strategies aligned with business goals and customer needs across key pharmaceutical products.
- Lead strategic negotiations with major healthcare accounts, including PBMs, health plans, and payer organizations, to optimize formulary positioning and patient access.
- Create and implement gross-to-net pricing models, value-based contracting approaches, and profitability strategies for inline and pipeline products.
- Conduct financial and strategic evaluations of contracting opportunities, supporting end-to-end execution and business case development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, medical, finance, and market access teams to align strategies and ensure operational excellence.
- Analyze healthcare market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and reimbursement trends to support launch readiness and long-term portfolio success.
- Build and maintain strong executive-level customer relationships while driving innovative, customer-focused business solutions.
- Support commercialization planning through pricing research, forecasting, scenario modeling, and market access strategy development.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, market access, payer strategy, healthcare consulting, pharmacy, or related fields.
- Strong expertise in pharmaceutical pricing, reimbursement, healthcare economics, and US healthcare market dynamics.
- Extensive experience negotiating with PBMs, national and regional health plans, Medicare Part B/Part D organizations, and other payer stakeholders.
- Proven success managing complex customer relationships and influencing senior stakeholders across cross-functional environments.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with an agile mindset, emotional intelligence, and the ability to inspire and empower teams.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, patient access strategies, product launches, and channel management.
- Rare disease market experience is considered a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as needed.
