This role is focused on ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of virtualized infrastructure environments that support critical business operations. You will work with on-premises and hybrid virtualization platforms, contributing to the availability and reliability of IT services across the organization. The position involves hands-on administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of virtual environments, as well as participation in infrastructure projects such as migrations and expansions. You will collaborate closely with network, storage, security, and cloud teams to deliver integrated and secure solutions. This is a highly technical role in a dynamic enterprise environment, requiring strong analytical skills and operational discipline. It offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure challenges that directly impact business continuity and performance.

In this role, you will manage and support virtualized environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure services:

• Administer and maintain on-premises and/or hybrid virtualization environments.
• Create, configure, and manage virtual machines and related infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability of virtualized platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents of medium and high complexity (N2/N3 support).
• Execute and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Apply patches, updates, and fixes to virtualization platforms and related systems.
• Support infrastructure projects such as migrations, expansions, and consolidations.
• Collaborate with networking, storage, security, and cloud teams to ensure integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and environment standards.

This role requires solid technical expertise in virtualization technologies and infrastructure environments, combined with strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills:

• Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion).
• Knowledge of Hyper-V environments.
• Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Cloud knowledge is a plus (hybrid or public cloud environments).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams in complex IT environments.
