Section Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Section Manager in Canada.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee operational and service activities within a collaborative, performance-driven environment focused on delivering strong member and client experiences. You will manage a team while contributing to strategic planning, operational optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position combines people leadership with business management responsibilities, requiring strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills. You will play a key role in supporting change management, employee development, and service excellence while aligning operational goals with broader organizational priorities. The role also emphasizes talent development, employee engagement, and process optimization in a dynamic and evolving environment. This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel within the Lévis and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.

Accountabilities:
  • Support operational planning and work organization for the unit while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the unit’s action plans and performance indicators within a results-oriented management framework.
  • Lead and support team members through coaching, performance management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Establish communication and management practices that promote collaboration, change management, inclusion, and retention.
  • Oversee service delivery activities to maximize operational efficiency, member satisfaction, and business performance outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes under your responsibility to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Promote organizational values and foster a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment.
  • Produce reports, monitor performance metrics, and support the achievement of team and organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing people, performance, and operational activities.
  • Ability to make sound decisions, optimize workflows, and drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering high-quality client experiences.
  • Experience supporting change management, employee development, and team engagement initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and align operational activities with strategic objectives.
  • Fluency in French is required.
  • Availability to travel within the Lévis and Chaudière-Appalaches regions when needed.
