This role is designed for an experienced workforce strategy professional who thrives at the intersection of analytics, organizational planning, and human capital transformation. You will support federal clients by leading workforce planning initiatives that help organizations assess capabilities, identify future talent needs, and develop actionable workforce strategies. Working in a collaborative consulting environment, you will translate complex workforce data into clear recommendations that inform executive decision-making and long-term organizational planning. The role combines analytical rigor with strategic advisory responsibilities, requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills. You will contribute to enterprise-level workforce modernization efforts, including competency modeling, gap analysis, and human capital roadmaps. - Lead workforce demand analyses by translating strategic business priorities into future workforce roles, skills, and capacity requirements.
- Develop competency models, role frameworks, and skill taxonomies aligned with enterprise workforce planning objectives.
- Conduct workforce supply assessments using workforce data, capability evaluations, and validation methodologies.
- Design and implement skills and competency assessments using Industrial-Organizational Psychology principles and methodologies.
- Perform workforce gap analyses and scenario planning to identify future skill shortages, operational risks, and workforce constraints.
- Translate workforce findings into actionable recommendations that support mission objectives and leadership decision-making.
- Develop human capital strategies including reskilling, retention, recruitment, and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Support the creation of workforce transformation roadmaps incorporating change management approaches and performance metrics.
- Prepare executive-ready reports, presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams and leadership to deliver high-quality consulting engagements on time and within scope.
- Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or a closely related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in workforce planning, human capital consulting, workforce analytics, or related advisory roles.
- Strong expertise in workforce demand modeling, supply assessments, and workforce gap analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of competency modeling, workforce analytics frameworks, and organizational assessment techniques.
- Ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, strategic insights and recommendations.
- Experience creating executive-level deliverables and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within fast-paced consulting environments.
- Preferred experience supporting federal government agencies or IT-focused organizations.
- Familiarity with workforce risk analysis, attrition modeling, and workforce performance metrics is a plus.
- Competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $140,000 based on experience and qualifications.
