Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary care as directed by physician and in accordance to established procedure
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators
• Perform critical care duties required for treatment, such as, airway management and tracheal suctioning
• Properly clean and store equipment
• Document all pertinent patient data into medical record
• Perform EKG treadmill stress tests, newborn hearing screenings and set up halter monitors as ordered by physician

Requirements

• Graduation from accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal capabilities including empathy and compassion
• Ability to think critically, work independently and use good judgment
