Maintenance Associate at PureGym US – Queens, New York

Maintenance Associates are the backbone of our gym team. They take pride in keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for all members. From maintaing the gym floor to ensuring locker rooms and training areas are spotless, our Maintenance Associates keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Keep the sidewalk, entrance, and all training areas clean and presentable
• Maintain reception areas and offices to a high standard of cleanliness
• Stock and clean showers and locker rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are available
• Ensure fitness areas are tidy, equipment is functional, and overall presentation is excellent

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong understanding of “What Great Looks Like” and an ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and order
• Ability to identify and address areas which are below standards; attention to detail
• Able to lift and move gym equipment (15-20 lbs frequently, up to 45 lbs occasionally)
• Experience handling and using cleaning products
• Ability to organize and maintain storage areas
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using hand tools and cleaning equipment
• Act with a sense of urgency
• Excellent verbal communication skills
