Receptionist at Competition Auto Group – St. James, New York

Competition BMW of Smithtown seeks a Front Desk Sales Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a winning attitude. At Competition BMW of Smithtown, we believe our associates are our greatest asset. We provide ongoing training and reward outstanding effort and results.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all customers coming into the dealership with a friendly attitude and uncover their needs.
• Answer phones, direct consumers to the proper department, and follow up promptly.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Operate switchboard telephone system.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the length of time customers spend on hold.

• Experience as a receptionist or in customer service is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
• Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel.
