Monday – Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a Mark Andy or similar printing machine to produce print on label rolls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, and anilox BCM.
• Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Select and install printing plates, rollers, feed guides, gauges, screens, stencils, dies, and cylinders in machines according specifications, using hand tools.
• Ensure work area remains within 5S standards.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise on the machine you are operating.
• Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED

High School Diploma or GED.

Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Previous flexographic printing experience
