Maintenance Technician - Grand Harbor Marina at Southern Marinas LLC – Counce, Tennessee

POSITION PURPOSE:
The facilities staff is responsible for making sure that buildings, docks and the property are maintained and compliant with rules and regulations outlined by state and county.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform preventative maintenance to the building and property systems to prolong the life span of the facility.
2. Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
3. Ensure the parking lots, docks, and grounds are maintained and clean.
4. Perform safety inspections on systems such as fire prevention, fuel dispensing, hazardous material storage etc.
5. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
6. Repair plumbing, painting, basic carpentry, and other marina and building systems.
7. Performs touch up and finish painting.
8. Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds, docks and walks.
9. Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
10. Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisor.
11. Other duties as assigned by management.
