Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal is focused on build-to-print manufacturing of simple and complex sheet metal, machined, welded components and assemblies in support of commercial aircraft, medical and many other industrial related applications. We are an AS9100D registered corporation and provide a full service 73,000 sq. ft. facility that includes rapid prototype, pilot and production runs, assembly, welding, spotwelding, CNC machining, painting and silk screen printing. Position Summary - Production Supervisor

Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal, a leading aerospace and defense sheet metal fabrication company with over 50 years of industry excellence, is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor to oversee daily CNC manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will lead by example while actively participating in daily operations, overseeing team performance, ensuring quality standards, and fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment all the while driving continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with AS9100D, ITAR, and DFARS requirements. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for precision, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Actively participate in the daily operations.
- Review daily goals and assignments of resources to meet production schedules.
- Manage production resources and provide problem solving support to eliminate or minimize downtime.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ability to delegate responsibilities as required by the situation.
- Ensure preparedness for upcoming jobs for tooling, fixturing and coordination of operation requirements.
- Participation in schedule reviews, continual improvement initiatives and corrective actions as required.
- Ensure lot traceability for manufacturing lots in accordance with customer and AS9100 requirements.
- Manage work schedules of mill team.
- Proactively address safety, bottlenecks and production needs.
- Assist in the setting up and operation of jobs on designated machines as required.
- Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills, share expertise with others.

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in precision component manufacturing, with at least 2 years of supervisory and mentorship experience.

- Strong leadership and analytical skills with a minimum of 2 years supervisory and mentor experience.
- Must be able to set up and operate 3-5 axis Vertical Mills, read and interpret drawings in GD & T, validate and verify setups and generate first article dimensional reports.
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in verbal, written, and diagram form.
- Good understanding of NC code, programming experience preferred.

- Understanding of KPI’s (key performance indicators) and the ability to impact production flow.
- Background in Root Cause / Corrective Action tools such as (5 why), (A3) or (8D) methodology

- Comfortable providing feedback and clear direction to others using objective data and systems

Physical Demands

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift).

- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, occasionally heavier with assistance.

- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for inspecting parts and reading gauges.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.

- Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes.
