We are currently looking for a Director of Business Development in Massachusetts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a personal BD ROI over 100%.

  • Identify local/existing/programmatic clients and facilitate collaboration to drive revenue across other regions and profit centers.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit top-level Seller-Doer talent.

  • Master Cumming Group’s Pursuits Process and train Seller-Doers.

  • Assist Profit Center Leaders with development & execution of growth strategy.

  • Drive improved communication and collaboration between Profit Center Leadership, Seller-Doers, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and BD Team Members.

  • Provide Pursuits Process coaching for major new client opportunities.

  • Coordinate with Profit Center Leader to research and identify target sectors, prospective clients, decision makers, influencers, and opportunities within assigned territories to guide strategy as part of revenue generation.

  • Utilize Meeting Agreements to schedule client meetings, then host internal Pre-Meeting Prep Calls to prepare the Pursuits Team for ideal outcomes.

  • Post client meeting, ensure completion of action items/next steps to meet client needs and drive the Pursuits Process forward.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or a related field

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a related field, prior experience overseeing multiple markets and business plans. Experience in the Massachusetts market is required.

The salary range for this full-time role is $159,400.00-$223,133.37 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
