This role sits at the core of global risk management operations within a fast-moving financial infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for evaluating merchant and partner risk across a wide range of businesses, from early-stage startups to large enterprise clients, ensuring safe and compliant participation in payment ecosystems. The position requires strong analytical thinking to identify regulatory, contractual, and operational risks while supporting scalable decision-making frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external financial partners to enhance risk controls and improve operational efficiency. A key part of your role will involve analyzing trends, strengthening detection systems, and continuously improving due diligence processes. • Evaluate merchants and partners across different risk profiles to determine suitability for participation in payment processing systems.
• Apply sound judgment to manage complex, non-binary risk decisions while balancing compliance, business needs, and customer impact.
• Monitor, analyze, and escalate risk trends, contributing insights to improve detection systems and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and scale risk operations workflows and due diligence processes.
• Identify gaps in existing policies, systems, and tools, and recommend improvements to mitigate emerging risks.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and internal policies while maintaining process efficiency and consistency.
• Support reporting, documentation, and communication with internal stakeholders and external financial partners.

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, operations, or a similar analytical role in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience improving and scaling operational processes with measurable impact.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally on complex, ambiguous business problems.
