Job title: Laundry Production Finish

Position Summary:

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Standing, bending and twisting for long periods of time
2. Repetitive movement using hands to feed articles into the machines
3. Contact with others (face-to-face) in groups and individual
4. Includes exposure to hot atmosphere, sounds and noise levels that can be distracting
5. Repeating the same physical activities or mental activities over and over
6. Work with others in a group or team
7. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people
8. Iron, Operate extractors and driers, or direct their operation
9. Load or unload material into machinery
10. Spread fabric or clothing article on worktable or ironing board
11. Maintain consistent production quality

SHIFT MANAGER

Job Description:
On-the-job training and orientation will be provided. Iron, Operate or tend washing or dry-cleaning machines to wash or dry-clean industrial articles, such as cloth garments, blankets, draperies and linens. Short-term on-the-job training will be provided. Ability to work with others in a close proximity is a MUST. Bending, twisting and standing for long periods of time will be required. You are required to use your hands to handle, control and feed articles into the machines in a repetitive movement. Must be prepared to work in hot temperatures.

Education/ Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Laundry experience is a PLUS.

Physical / Mental Requirements:
* May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels.
* Good hand-eye coordination
* Must be able to stand for 8n or 10 hour shifts
* May be required to bend, reach and/or lift up to 25 lbs
* Able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Able to stand on feet and work in hot temperatures for several hours.
