Bus Driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Chicanos Por La Causa

We are bringing on Bus Drivers for both weekend and Monday-Friday shifts. Candidates must have a current CDL.

POSITION SUMMARY
Shelter Bus Driver to support the logistics of delivering essential supplies to shelters and individuals in need. Diligent and punctual individual with a clean driving record and excellent navigation skills, seeking a position as a Bus Driver to provide reliable and efficient service, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• City Operators Permit
• A clean driving record and a current U.S. Commercial Drivers License/CDL
• High School Diploma or GED and two (2) progressive years of experience in general office procedures, customer service and driving

Other Requirements:

• Drivers will have to take a defensive driving class
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, for instance, when driving in inclement weather conditions
• Ability to concentrate, ensuring road safety
• Good customer skills to keep clients happy and retain them
• Outgoing, friendly, energetic
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable giving direction, holding others accountable and being solution-oriented
• Ability to work well independently
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Basic knowledge of computers, handheld devices and relevant electronic applications
• Ability to collect and compile data and perform data entry
