Laboratory Technician in Loveland, Colorado at MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATES LLC

Lab 797 (part of the Medical Technology Associates family of companies) is a microbiology lab specializing in the testing of environmental and personnel samples within the sterile compounding pharmaceutical industry. In the laboratory technician position you will assist with an array of laboratory processes including shipping/receiving, incubation, sample analysis, mass spectroscopy, documentation, and reporting.

Essential Responsibilities

• Executes standardized testing procedures, following established protocols and methodologies.
• Records, analyzes, and interprets test results with meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintains accurate and comprehensive records of all laboratory activities.
• Prepares detailed reports summarizing test results, methodologies, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Adheres to safety protocols and maintains a safe working environment.
• Communicates effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Interacts with clients as needed, addressing inquiries and providing relevant information.
• Ensures client satisfaction by delivering accurate and timely results.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred
• Familiarity with microbiology and analytical techniques including incubation, subculture, Gram-stain, and mass spectroscopy preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 and USP<797> standards (Not required initially but must attain full comprehension of these standards within the first 6 months of employment)
