Project Manager at PROPULSION CONTROLS ENGINEERING LLC – SAN DIEGO, California

Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current opening at our San Diego, California location for an experienced Ship Repair Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of military or ship repair/marine industry experience. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation.

Project Manager Position Summary:

Oversee and lead a team in completing projects by a set deadline, schedule and budget. Monitor project progress, resolve challenges and communicate obstacles.

Position Requirments:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 5 plus years’ experience of military/marine or ship repair industry preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task with multiple projects.
• Ability and tolerance to meet due dates and deadlines and/or time constraints.
• Ability to delegate and lead others.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control and costs.
• Ability to obtain / maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
