• Define and guide the technical vision for products and projects, from solution design through launch and continuous optimization.
• Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable distributed system architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Lead code reviews and establish high standards for software quality, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Mentor and support senior developers, fostering technical growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify, prioritize, and reduce technical debt through strategic platform enhancement initiatives.
• Break down complex technical challenges into incremental and deliverable solutions, avoiding large-scale “big bang” implementations.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure technical feasibility and influence product direction.
• Define architectural standards for APIs, service communication patterns, and data persistence strategies.
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD improvements, deployment strategies, and observability practices.
• Participate in technical hiring processes and help strengthen engineering team capabilities.

• Solid experience as a Technical Lead in backend software development environments.
• Proven expertise designing and documenting distributed system architectures.
• Strong experience with REST API development, service communication, and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming paradigms.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, Java or other JVM languages, and familiarity with C#.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end quality strategies, and TDD practices.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure messaging services.
• Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, query optimization, and database modeling.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Experience leading development teams technically, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Nice-to-have experience includes AWS, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, non-relational databases, fraud prevention systems, and messaging/email gateway integrations.
• Strong soft skills including technical leadership, negotiation, strategic thinking, business awareness, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
