The Repair Technician diagnoses, repairs, tests, and configures technology equipment to ensure devices meet quality and operational standards. This role performs hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and quality checks while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting repair operations. The position requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities
The Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and configuring technology equipment to ensure devices meet operational and quality standards. This role performs hardware repairs, replaces defective components, verifies equipment functionality, and documents repair activities accurately within company systems. The Repair Technician maintains inventory and repair records, follows established repair procedures and safety guidelines, prioritizes workload to meet service expectations, and collaborates with internal teams to support operational goals. Additional responsibilities may include equipment handling, staging, shipping support, and other duties as assigned.

- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
- Experience with inventory tracking or repair ticket systems preferred.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and maintain repair documentation.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners, printers, mobile devices, POS equipment, or networking equipment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or related education preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience as a repair technician, bench technician, hardware support, or in a related technical role preferred.
- Experience repairing electronic devices, mobility equipment, POS systems, printers, handheld scanners, or related hardware preferred.
- Experience working in a warehouse, repair center, logistics, or technical operations environment preferred.
- Prior experience working within service level expectations and quality standards is preferred.
- Soldering experience, preferred but not required.
- Adding solder paste to individual connector pins to repair blind leads of surface mount connectors
Environment and Normal Working Conditions
Warehouse environment. Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this position may require work outside normal business hours and location, depending on the Company's operational needs.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to use hands and fingers for fine motor coordination, including operating repair tools, keyboards, and electronic testing equipment. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach while performing repair and maintenance activities. Ability to visually inspect small electronic components and identify defects or repair needs. Ability to hear and verbally communicate effectively with team members and customers. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier lifting may require assistance. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements related to electronic repair, assembly, and data entry. Ability to work in a warehouse, bench repair, or technical service environment while maintaining safety standards. Ability to safely operate hand tools, testing equipment, and specialized repair instruments. Ability to perform duties requiring manual dexterity and precision handling of electronic components.
