As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our mining and aggregate operations running safely and efficiently. Every day brings new challenges, opportunities to problem-solve, and the chance to operate powerful equipment in a fast-paced environment.

• Safely operate heavy equipment including:
  • Front End Loaders
  • Dozers
  • Haul Trucks
  • Excavators
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
• Work collaboratively with customers, coworkers, and leadership
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency
• Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset
• Support additional operational tasks as needed

• Experience operating heavy equipment required
• Mining or aggregate industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather and environmental conditions including heat, cold, dust, rain, and wind. Safety is always our top priority, and all work is performed in accordance with York Building Products safety standards.

• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds
