Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Automotive Sales Representative to generate vehicle sales outside of the dealership. This role involves prospecting new customers, building relationships with businesses and individuals, attending community events, conducting off-site vehicle demonstrations, and closing sales in the field. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while representing the dealership in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new vehicle sales outside of the dealership.
- Visit local businesses, organizations, and community events to develop new customer relationships.
- Schedule and conduct off-site vehicle presentations and test drives.
- Follow up with leads through phone calls, emails, text messages, and in-person visits.
- Build and maintain a strong referral network.
- Educate customers on vehicle features, financing options, warranties, and dealership services.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using the dealership's CRM.
- Coordinate with the dealership's sales and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay current on product knowledge, promotions, and market trends.
- Represent the dealership professionally at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive sales or outside sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong prospecting and networking abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.
- Basic computer and CRM proficiency.
