This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Product based in Canada.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the full product strategy of a high-scale consumer technology platform used by millions of users across Canada. You will operate at the intersection of vision, execution, and commercial impact, owning the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through delivery and iteration. The role requires close partnership with executive leadership and engineering to shape roadmap priorities and ensure product decisions directly drive growth, retention, and monetization. You will also play a key role in scaling a lean but high-performing product and design organization. The environment is fast-moving, AI-native, and highly data-driven, with a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership position where strategic thinking and execution go hand in hand.
- Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution across all core product areas
- Drive growth, retention, engagement, and monetization through clear product prioritization and delivery
- Translate business and user problems into shipped, measurable product outcomes
- Partner closely with engineering and executive leadership to align vision and execution
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product and design organization
- Embed AI into product development and internal workflows to accelerate delivery and innovation
- Lead product strategy for geographic expansion and multi-market scaling
- 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in VP, Head of Product, or CPO roles
- Proven experience shipping consumer products at scale (millions of users)
- Strong track record of leading and scaling product organizations and operating models
- Deep experience in AI-native product thinking, including building or shipping AI-powered features
- Strong product craft: prioritization, discovery, execution discipline, and user-centric thinking
- Strong commercial and data fluency, with ownership of growth, retention, and monetization metrics
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and executive stakeholders in distributed teams
