About the Role:
The Senior Traksys Development Consultant will play a pivotal role in optimizing and customizing the Traksys platform to meet the complex needs of manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico. This position focuses on delivering tailored software solutions that enhance asset management, maintenance scheduling, and operational efficiency. The consultant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical implementations within Traksys. By leveraging deep expertise in the Traksys system, the role aims to drive continuous improvement and support strategic manufacturing objectives. Ultimately, this position ensures that the Traksys platform is fully aligned with organizational goals, enabling seamless manufacturing workflows and data-driven decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Traksys software in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in software development, customization, and integration within the Traksys platform.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, asset management, and maintenance processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico or similar markets.
- Familiarity with additional enterprise systems such as ERP, CMMS, or MES platforms.
- Certifications related to Traksys or asset management software solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used with Traksys customization (e.g., SQL, C#, .NET).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to facilitate communication across diverse teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of customized Traksys solutions tailored to manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Traksys and other enterprise systems to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and support for Traksys-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower end-users and stakeholders in utilizing Traksys effectively.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements to optimize manufacturing asset management.
- Stay current with Traksys updates and industry best practices to incorporate innovative features and improvements.

The required skills enable the consultant to effectively customize and enhance the Traksys platform to meet specific manufacturing needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for diagnosing issues and developing robust solutions that improve asset management and operational workflows. Communication skills are critical for translating complex technical details into clear guidance for stakeholders and end-users. Preferred skills such as bilingualism and familiarity with related enterprise systems enhance collaboration and broaden the consultant’s ability to deliver comprehensive solutions. Together, these skills support the consultant’s daily work in driving system improvements, user training, and strategic alignment of technology with manufacturing goals.
Requirements:
- Expertise in configuration, customization, and deployment of TrakSys applications.
- Demonstrated experience in discrete manufacturing.
- Customer facing ability, analytical ability, excellent communication and articulation skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Six (6) month engagement minimum.
