Job Description

This is an exempt position.

This position is part-time. It is Saturday - Sunday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The following listing of assignments, tasks and activities is not intended to be all inclusive, but is intended to reflect a level of performance.

  1. Insure the safety and security of all residents, visitors and staff.
  2. Monitor and maintain sign-in/-out log, and, ensures that all guests and visitors sign-in and sign-out of the building.
  3. Respond to all resident emergencies when case management staff is not on-duty.
  4. Summon the police department and/or fire department in case of emergency and when appropriate.
  5. Summon local emergency unit when appropriate.
  6. Intervene with residents in conflict situations as defined by the organization and the program director.
  7. May conduct fire drills and other evacuation drills.
  8. May never leave the front desk unoccupied
  9. Insure that tenant and program property is safe and secure.
  10. Provide the program director with written and verbal reports as required.
  11. Perform related duties as requested by the program director.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and completion of State required courses
  • Prior experience as a security officer is helpful
  • Security Personnel must continue to maintain State requirements.
