CLASSIFICATION: PART-TIME // 8-10 HOURS/WEEK
SALARY: $26/HR
WestGate Church, a non-denominational, multi-congregational church in Silicon Valley, is seeking an energetic and skilled Weekend Experience Coordinator to schedule bands and the guest experience teams for South Hills Campus weekend gatherings. This part-time role includes Sunday responsibilities and limited weekday hours to help recruit, and coordinate volunteer teams, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and engaging experience for all who attend.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for collaboration and document management.
- Proficient in Planning Center Services for scheduling of weekend serve teams.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and equip volunteers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide preparation assistance to weekend services, baptisms, and communion.
- Lead Guest Experience efforts that foster a welcoming, organized, and hospitable environment during weekend services.
- Assist with recruiting and training of Guest Experience Serve Team members.
- Manage the South Hills Guest Experience Team schedule in Planning Center, ensuring clear communication, adequate staffing, and a culture of encouragement, excellence, and hospitality.
- Partner with ministry staff to ensure Guest Experience teams are prepared and aligned for weekend services and special events.
- Serve alongside the Guest Experience team during weekend services at least once per month to foster relationships, provide encouragement, and maintain a strong connection with Serve Team members.
- Manage the South Hills Worship Band schedule in Planning Center, communicating with team members and coordinating substitutions to ensure all band positions are filled for weekend services.
- Other duties as assigned.
