PREP BAR GARNISHER

The details behind a great cocktail start before the first pour. As a Prep Bar Garnisher, you’ll prepare fresh, high-quality garnishes and beverage components that help our bartenders deliver efficient service and visually memorable drinks. Your organization, creativity, and attention to detail will directly contribute to an incredible guest experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Wash, slice, cut, and prepare cocktail garnishes, including citrus, herbs, berries, twists, and skewers.
• Create specialty garnishes such as dehydrated fruit, infused sugars and salts, and edible flower presentations.
• Restock garnish trays, preparation stations, and bar refrigerators before and throughout service.
• Coordinate with bartenders to anticipate needs and keep service running smoothly.
• Prepare simple mixers, syrups, and other beverage components as assigned.
• Properly label, date, store, and rotate ingredients using FIFO practices to maintain freshness and quality.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Keep the garnish preparation area clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Assist with receiving and properly storing produce and bar supplies.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, kitchen, or food preparation role is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A Food Handler’s Certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Strong knife skills and a basic understanding of culinary preparation.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper storage, and product rotation standards.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• The ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
• A positive attitude and the ability to communicate and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift 10–25 pounds.
