- Support research initiatives: Provide hands-on operational support across new and ongoing research programs, taking ownership of the many logistical and administrative details required to launch and execute projects successfully.
- Coordinate external contributors: Work with experts, contractors, and other external collaborators across diverse fields, ensuring contributions meet quality standards while creating a positive and efficient working experience.
- Support data-related projects: Assist with data acquisition, licensing, security, compliance, and other operational requirements associated with research datasets and data-intensive projects.
- Organize events and programs: Coordinate research events, symposiums, conferences, and other gatherings that bring together experts and stakeholders.
- Manage communications: Own external communication channels such as shared inboxes, responding directly to inquiries or appropriately triaging requests to the relevant team members.
- Solve complex operational challenges: Break ambiguous problems into actionable steps, identify creative solutions, and establish processes that help new initiatives operate effectively.
- Adapt to evolving priorities: Take on a broad range of special projects as organizational needs change, using sound judgment to prioritize work and make effective use of limited time and resources.
- AI and research interest: Strong interest in AI developments and familiarity with contemporary machine learning concepts, research trends, benchmarks, and the broader evolution of AI systems.
- Relevant professional experience: At least 2 years of work experience in roles involving multiple priorities, complex coordination, operations, project management, research support, or similarly varied responsibilities.
- Problem-solving ability: Demonstrated ability to work independently on ambiguous challenges, create structure where none exists, and develop practical solutions without relying on a predefined playbook.
- Organization and attention to detail: Highly organized, conscientious, and dependable, with a natural ability to manage numerous details, deadlines, stakeholders, and moving parts simultaneously.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate directly, clearly, and empathetically with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Feedback orientation: Proactively seeks feedback, incorporates it quickly, and is comfortable providing thoughtful and constructive feedback to colleagues and leaders.

Candidates with availability overlapping UTC−4/5 (Eastern Time) are preferred, as are those able to travel for periodic team retreats and relevant conferences.

- Competitive salary: $95,000–$153,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location, with compensation potentially provided in local currencies.
