This is a fully remote clinical role designed for doctors who want to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care through a modern telehealth model.
You’ll provide consultations to a diverse patient population across Australia, with a strong focus on clinical quality, safety, and continuity of care.
The role combines clinical autonomy with structured support from nursing, education, and operational teams.
You’ll conduct assessments, manage follow-up care, and support appropriate prescribing while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance standards.

- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based telehealth consultations to patients across Australia in a professional and patient-centred manner.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, provide appropriate follow-up care, and exercise sound clinical judgment throughout the patient journey.
- Manage S4/S8 prescribing responsibilities in accordance with applicable clinical, regulatory, privacy, and medico-legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation using digital healthcare platforms and internal systems.
- Work closely with nursing and support teams to coordinate patient care and provide a seamless overall experience.
- Use digital-first tools effectively to manage consultations, documentation, communication, and other clinical workflows.
- Support continuity of care by communicating clearly with relevant internal teams and maintaining appropriate follow-up.
- Operate efficiently within short consultation windows while maintaining appropriate standards of clinical care and patient safety.
- Seek guidance or escalate clinical and operational questions when appropriate, making effective use of available team support.
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Minimum PGY4 experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide evidence-based, harm-reduction-focused care.
- Experience or confidence managing telehealth consultations and working effectively within a digital clinical environment.
- Ability to conduct efficient consultations, including approximately 10-minute appointments, without compromising patient care or clinical quality.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian privacy requirements, RTPM processes, S8 regulations, and medico-legal responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively through a virtual care setting.
- Strong digital literacy and confidence navigating multiple platforms while maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive, with a strong commitment to patient continuity and collaborative care.
- Ability to work independently while actively engaging with nursing, support, education, and clinical leadership teams.
- $60 AUD per consultation, with an average of approximately 4–6 consultations per hour.
- 100% remote work from anywhere in Australia.
