General Laborer - Field Mobilization in at Oliver Mechanical Inc

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to join our Field Mobilization Team. In this role, you’ll support commercial mechanical construction projects by helping prepare job sites, move materials, and assist skilled trades. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being part of a team, and working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with job site setup and breakdown, including temporary facilities, fencing, and safety signage
• Load, unload, move, and stage mechanical materials and equipment
• Support HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting crews with general labor tasks
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Assist with material deliveries, inventory, and tool tracking
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Travel to multiple job sites daily

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable and hardworking with a strong work ethic
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting up to 75 lbs
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet insurance requirements to operate a company vehicle
• Construction or trade experience is a plus, but not required

Helpful Experience (Not Required)

• Commercial construction experience
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift experience
• Familiarity with mechanical construction tools and materials

Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed on commercial construction sites across varying locations
• Exposure to weather, noise, dust, and typical construction conditions
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions on active construction sites
• Weekday schedule with potential for early starts, overtime, or occasional weekends
