About the role
The Final Prep Assembler prepares products for final assembly by maintaining part inventories, installing door bottoms, glazing beads, astragals, glass, and window kits in accordance with quality and safety standards. The role works collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and performs other related duties as assigned to support efficient operations.
What you'll do
- Maintaining part inventories (watch, and replenish)
- Installing door bottoms, glazing beads, preparing astragals
- Installing glass and window kits
- Work collaboratively and safely with colleagues in cross-functional roles and departments for related projects.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Good knowledge of AMBICO’s product is a strong asset
- Use of power tools, drills, grinder and saw
- Meticulousness and attention to detail
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Extensive and long periods of standing.
- Ability to lift 23 kilograms (50lbs), including metal materials
- Must be able to wear full face respirator mask
- Must be able to wear standard PPE in a manufacturing plant
- This position is on site.
This position is to fill an existing vacancy.
Hourly base wage of $23.37 – $25.24
