Job Overview
We are looking for a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team. As part of our team of prescribers, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive mental health care, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management, working closely with our clinical team to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients. This position requires a high level of clinical expertise and compassion to ensure success.

Providers can join LunaJoy to supplement their existing practice, with a flexible commitment of at least 10 hours per week. Providers partnering with LunaJoy enjoy seamless integration with their practice and an expanded reach through new client matching. We handle all administrative tasks, from billing and credentialing to front desk support and IT services. Our comprehensive support allows you to focus entirely on delivering quality care to your patients.

As part of the LunaJoy team, you will play an essential role in supporting the mental health journey of one million women with purpose-driven innovation, unwavering compassion, and transformative care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals.
  • Prescribe and manage medications for mental health disorders in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Conduct ongoing patient assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation following professional and legal standards.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication side effects.
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure the highest level of care.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a PA-C in good standing in .
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric care or medication management.
  • Experience with women’s mental health, particularly perinatal and postpartum mental health, is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Passion for women’s mental health and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Nice to Haves:
  • Specialized training in psychopharmacology or psychiatric care related to women’s health.
  • Experience in telehealth or remote care delivery.
  • Additional certifications or continuing education in psychiatric care or women’s mental health.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Compensation Range: $70–$75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
