This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, reporting, and statistical model monitoring within a high-volume, decision-driven environment. You will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that support business strategy, operational performance, and risk management. The position involves building and automating reports, analyzing trends, and ensuring the ongoing accuracy and effectiveness of production models. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions and technical specifications. Working in a dynamic, data-rich environment, you will play a key role in improving decision-making and optimizing business processes. The role offers strong exposure to advanced analytics, programming, and business intelligence tools in a flexible remote-first setup.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of production models and key business processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability of outputs.
- Develop, automate, and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports, including KPI dashboards and fraud-related triggers.
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using programming and query tools to support business decision-making.
- Identify trends, investigate anomalies, and provide actionable insights to improve operational and analytical performance.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements, analytical workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Support cross-functional teams by delivering data-driven insights and responding to business requests in a timely manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing reporting processes, tools, and analytical methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience level depending on role:
- Associate: foundational exposure to analytical tools and programming concepts.
- Mid-Level: 1+ years of experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar statistical programming languages.
- Senior: 3+ years of relevant experience, including advanced analytics and reporting responsibilities.
- Strong proficiency in data querying, manipulation, and analysis using SQL, SAS, Python, R, or equivalent tools.
- Experience building reports, dashboards, or BI outputs in analytical or business intelligence environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision (especially Mid-Level/Senior).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Senior-level candidates may have additional experience mentoring team members and leading analytical initiatives.
