Job Description
Puklich Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Body Shop Technician to join our team in Bismarck, North Dakota.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive collision repair industry. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn. Previous body shop or automotive experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with vehicle repairs and shop operations
- Buff and polish repaired vehicles
- Perform accessory installations including-
- Assist with warranty-related repairs and claims work
- Perform light body repairs and component replacements
- Replace bumpers and exterior trim components
- Assist with small dent repairs and minor cosmetic repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership standards
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Previous automotive, body shop, or trade experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical work and lift parts and equipment as needed
- Valid driver's license required
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break

- Starting pay of $20.00 per hour
