We are seeking a motivated, customer focused Inside Sales Specialist to join our residential team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, performance driven environment, enjoys building relationships, and is skilled at converting opportunities into closed sales through a consultative approach.
This role offers a competitive flat hourly rate plus commission opportunities, rewarding strong performance and sales results.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on unsold HVAC and plumbing estimates to convert opportunities into closed sales
- Communicate with customers via phone, text, and email in a timely and professional manner
- Use consultative sales techniques to understand customer needs and present solutions
- Overcome objections and offer financing options when appropriate
- Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and membership programs
- Manage and maintain a personal sales pipeline within the CRM system
- Coordinate with dispatch, sales, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Track and improve key performance metrics such as conversion rates, average ticket value, and sales cycle time
- Maintain consistent professionalism and high-quality customer interactions
- Meet or exceed individual performance goals and company sales standards
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales recovery preferred
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or home services industry is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Comfortable handling objections and guiding customers toward solutions
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
