Heavy Equipment Operator in Pensacola, Florida at TEL Staffing & HR

Now hiring for a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator to work in the Pensacola FL area.

JOB SUMMARY:
In this position you will be responsible for operating various types of Heavy Equipment such as Excavators, Bulldozers, Skid Steers, and other large equipment used in the construction field. You MUST have prior experience in this type of role, and be available to work the posted days/hours. ALL work performed will be in the PENSACOLA, Escambia County & Santa Rosa County areas.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

• Understanding (and enforcing) the safe operation & the required maintenance, of various types of heavy equipment, specifically EXCAVATORS, BULLDOZERS, & SKID STEERS.
• Maintaining logs, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports.
• Having a sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
• Being in good physical condition and having the stamina to be able to work in various weather conditions.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Having exceptional manual dexterity AND hand-eye coordination.
• Having excellent vision -OR- use prescribed lenses.

HOURS:

• Mon – Fri 7am - 4pm
• Occasional Mandatory OT (from 4pm-6pm) Paid at time & a half
• NO Weekends

PAY:
Starting Pay Range is: $17/hr. - $25/hr.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have experience operating Excavators, Bulldozers, and Skid Steers
• Must pass a pre-employment Drug Test
• Must pass a pre-employment Background-Check
