- Provide statistical and epidemiological guidance for study design, data analysis, and methodological approaches in occupational safety and health research.
- Develop, validate, and apply statistical models to evaluate research hypotheses and support scientific conclusions.
- Clean, verify, and transform large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for advanced analysis.
- Use statistical programming tools (e.g., SAS, R, Python, SQL) to perform data manipulation, modeling, and visualization.
- Contribute to the development of job exposure matrices and other structured analytical frameworks.
- Prepare statistically sound analyses and contribute to manuscripts intended for peer-reviewed journals and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers and senior analysts, to ensure methodological rigor and reproducibility.
- Master’s degree in Statistics or closely related field required, with experience in occupational safety and health research.
- Strong proficiency in statistical and database tools such as SAS, R, Python, MS SQL, or Dataverse.
- Experience applying statistical methods to real-world research datasets, preferably in epidemiology or public health contexts.
- Solid understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for advanced statistical analysis.
- Ability to interpret research objectives and translate them into appropriate analytical approaches and programming solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in supporting scientific writing and manuscript preparation.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and collaboration platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.
