Manager, Financial Systems

This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, responsible for driving the configuration, optimization, and support of enterprise financial systems within a complex, multi-entity environment. The Manager, Financial Systems will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly across accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. This position is highly hands-on, requiring deep expertise in ERP systems alongside a strong accounting background. You will collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to improve processes, support month-end and year-end close activities, and ensure system integrity. The role also involves driving system improvements, supporting audits, and enabling scalable financial operations in a fast-paced global environment. It is ideal for a professional who thrives in detail-oriented execution while contributing to strategic financial systems evolution.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage, configure, and support Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud financial modules, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for accounting and finance teams, including month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure SOX compliance by documenting system changes, access controls, and permission structures.
  • Support financial audits, controls testing, and compliance-related requirements across systems and processes.
  • Deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support to finance and accounting stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform data cleansing activities, and implement effective solutions to enhance reporting and performance.
  • Stay current with Oracle Fusion releases and functionality enhancements to recommend system improvements.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience supporting Oracle financial systems, with at least 5+ years in Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud environments.
  • Strong accounting background, with CPA certification preferred.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Financial modules including GL, AP, Cash Management, and experience with Procurement preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, SOX compliance, and audit support processes.
  • Experience working in global, multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
  • Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI and basic Oracle data structures.
  • Proven ability to document processes, design system solutions, and deliver user training.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with finance and accounting stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience supporting complex financial operations in end-user and close-cycle environments.
