This is a high-responsibility role within a live, mission-critical financial systems environment where Zuora sits at the core of global billing and revenue operations. You will take ownership of a complex, already-running ecosystem, ensuring it scales safely while supporting continuous business growth and evolving pricing strategies. The role requires deep technical and functional expertise to operate confidently in a high-stakes setting where precision is essential, especially during month-end financial closes. You will act as the bridge between engineering, IT infrastructure, and finance teams, translating system complexity into clear business impact. Working across multiple enterprise platforms, you will help ensure seamless integrations, compliance adherence, and operational stability. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, production-critical environments and enjoys solving problems at the intersection of finance and technology.

• Take full technical ownership of a live Zuora Billing and Revenue environment, ensuring safe scaling, optimization, and continuous enhancement without disrupting ongoing operations.
• Drive platform evolution by refactoring and expanding system capabilities to support new pricing models, revenue structures, and business requirements.
• Act as a key bridge between IT infrastructure teams and Finance/Accounting stakeholders, ensuring alignment across operational and financial priorities.
• Manage and optimize complex integrations between Zuora and enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP.
• Safeguard financial compliance requirements (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), particularly during critical month-end close cycles.
• Translate complex technical architecture and system behaviors into clear, actionable insights for non-technical finance leaders and executives.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of cross-system data flow issues, APIs, and middleware integrations in a live production environment.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue in live, production-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition frameworks such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
• Proven experience managing complex integrations, APIs, and middleware data flows across enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM ecosystems including Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, or SAP.
• Ability to operate confidently in high-pressure environments with strict compliance and financial deadlines.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical complexity for finance and leadership stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of subscription billing, revenue operations, and financial system architecture.
• CPA certification or formal accounting background is a plus.
• Prior experience scaling or optimizing an already-live Zuora environment is highly desirable.
