This role offers a high-impact opportunity to manage and optimize a complex ServiceNow environment supporting enterprise IT service management operations. As a ServiceNow Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and architectural support of the platform, ensuring stability, scalability, and alignment with business and IT requirements. You will work across multiple stakeholders to support enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and governance activities while maintaining strong data quality and compliance standards. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, operational discipline, and strong communication skills to bridge business and technical teams. You will also contribute to platform strategy, automation, and continuous improvement efforts in a mission-critical environment. - Manage the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including users, groups, roles, ACLs, and overall configuration.
- Support core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, and CMDB.
- Configure and maintain workflows, business rules, forms, catalogs, reports, dashboards, and notifications.
- Oversee platform upgrades, patching, instance clones, releases, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Monitor platform performance, system health, and operational stability while resolving technical issues and service requests.
- Support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, including REST APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, and data imports/exports.
- Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and SOX audit readiness across the platform.
- Support Change Management, Configuration Management, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Risk Management processes.
- Participate in solution design reviews, requirements gathering, and enhancement planning with stakeholders.
- Provide architectural guidance for platform design, scalability, integration strategy, and long-term maintainability.
- Support testing activities including Automated Test Framework (ATF), regression testing, SIT/CAT, and user acceptance testing.
- Deliver end-user support, training, and act as a ServiceNow SME and escalation point for operational issues.
- Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, standards, and platform governance requirements.
- Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow administration, configuration, or platform architecture roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience with additional professional background).
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow core platform and ITSM modules.
- Proven ability to administer platform components including ACLs, roles, workflows, and system configurations.
- Experience managing upgrades, patches, clone activities, and release cycles.
- Strong understanding of data governance, audit compliance (including SOX), and security standards.
- Experience with integrations using REST APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub, and data transformation tools.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow development concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, Change Management, and Configuration Management practices.
- Experience supporting testing frameworks such as ATF, regression testing, and CAT/UAT cycles.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and solution quality is highly desirable.
- ITIL certification and exposure to additional ServiceNow modules (ITOM, SecOps, CSM, SPM) is a plus.
